Go east on Old Highway 30 that goes in front of Tavel America Truck Stop for 2 miles to Hillsdale Road sign. Turn left (north) on Hillsdale Road and go 4 miles, through the town of Hillsdale. Continue until you cross the railroad tracks and take the first right and you are at the Clayton Northcutt Conference/Retreat Center. you have also arrived at the location of Gethsemene Gardens Cemetery. map to Hillsdale This center is named in memory of Clayton Northcutt who passsed away in August 1997 after a long battle with cancer at the age of 47. He served in Vietnam, where he was wounded twice and where he had contact with Agent Orange, which is what caused his cancer. He spent the last 15 years of his life as an oustanding pastor of the First Baptist Church of Colinas, Texas. His was a life of Service and trust filled with with the word of God.
